In cooperation with the swedish company ChromoGenics, we delivered our THERMUR®HM insulating glasses for one of the most innovative and energy efficient glass facades worldwide. The combination of our Heat Mirror insulating glasses with an insulating value of 0,3W/m2K and the electrochromic ConverLight® by ChromoGenics is unique worldwide.
The office building GT5 in Oslo contists of six floors with a total area 14.000m² and was completed in fall 2022. Almost 4.000m² of Heat Mirror insulating glass was installed in the facade. It's not just the unique optics which are the focus of this building but also the environmental aspects. The dynamic sun protection function of the electrochromic glass as well as the superb insulating capacities of our Heat Mirror lead to a reduction of greenhousegas emissions of 50%, significant energy saving of about 100.000 kilowatthours and a decrease in CO2 emissions of 140 tons as compared to reference buildings.
